Exterior design

Sporty from every perspective

The Mercedes-AMG CLA Coupé simply stands out. From the AMG radiator grille and the distinctive AMG logo on the front to the vehicle’s wide rear, the new Coupé embodies modern dynamism and sportiness. The sharpened profile is rounded off by considered details such as the AMG high-performance brake system with red-painted brake callipers and the chrome-plated twin tailpipe trims on the left and right. Special highlights include the newly designed multibeam headlights and the new tail light design.

The Mercedes-AMG CLA 35 and 45 S Coupés bring unbridled performance to the road in compact form. The key to superior performance is one of the most powerful four-cylinder engines produced in series. This produces 225 kW (306 hp) or 310 kW (421 hp) in the new CLA and underlines the performance genes of the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 S Coupé.

The optional AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension and the 48V belt-driven starter generator installed in the CLA 35 provide an even better driving experience. The adaptive damping offers a wide spread between comfortable and very sporty setup. You choose between Comfort, Sport or Sport+ with just one operation and the suspension characteristics change instantly.

Real performance is not only seen, it is also heard. AMG Real Performance Sound makes the driving experience with the Mercedes-AMG CLA Coupé even more intense. You can determine how the turbo engine sounds in the interior. At the touch of a button, the sound can be switched from sporty and discreet (BALANCED) to motor-sporty and emotional (POWERFUL).
