UNCOMPROMISING PERFORMANCE
At the heart of the sporty driving experience of the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 is the further developed, high-revving M256M 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder engine with an exhaust turbocharger and an output of 330 kW (449 hp). Two impressive variants are available: with the 48-volt mild hybrid system, the engine responds even more quickly to accelerator input, delivering powerful thrust across the entire rev range. The integrated starter-generator (ISG) provides short-term boosting of 17 kW of power and 205 Nm of torque for additional thrust exactly when it matters most.
In the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 HYBRID 4MATIC+, the increased system output of 430 kW (585 hp) and maximum system torque of 750 Nm translate into impressive performance: acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h just takes 4.5 seconds – 0.2 seconds faster than its predecessor. Power delivery continues until the electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. With an electric range of 88-91 kilometres (WLTP), many everyday journeys can be covered purely on electric power.

ELECTRIFIED POWER
Under the bonnet of the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 HYBRID 4MATIC+ sits a further-developed, high-revving M256M 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder engine. The turbocharged engine delivers 330 kW (449 hp) and provides a maximum torque of 600 Nm. The long-range plug-in hybrid powertrain makes an even more compelling performance statement: the 400-volt plug-in hybrid system combines the six-cylinder engine with a 135 kW (184 hp) electric motor. The increased system output of 430 kW (585 hp) and the maximum system torque of 750 Nm unleash genuine AMG power, paired with a powerful, emotional engine sound.

FULL CONTROL, ON-ROAD AND OFF-ROAD
Thanks to the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 Coupé, there are no limits to your thirst for adventure. The fully variable 4MATIC+ all-wheel drive system offers optimum grip on any surface. In addition, the completely newly developed ESP® system ensures variable torque distribution and enables optimum traction in every situation. You gain additional stability through the newly developed AMG RIDE CONTROL+ air suspension with adaptive damping, which offers exceptional comfort whilst maintaining the high level of driving dynamics that is the hallmark of AMG. The nine-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G transmission offers particularly dynamic driving pleasure, whilst the intelligent driving modes of AMG DYNAMIC SELECT ensure optimum grip, a relaxed driving experience or maximum power.
The Mercedes-AMG 53 GLE HYBRID 4MATIC+ adds two hybrid-specific driving modes: ‘Electric’ enables purely electric driving from standstill up to 140 km/h. In the ‘Battery Hold’ programme, the combustion engine and electric motor operate, in the same manner as in ‘Comfort’, with a maximum boost of around 25 per cent depending on the situation.
Optional on the 48-volt version is the AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL suspension with active roll stabilisation, allowing even more precise tuning of steering response and load-transfer behaviour.
You don’t just feel the power of the Coupé, you hear it too. This is made possible by the AMG style exhaust system with dual tailpipe trims, fitted as standard.

Boldly sculpted and precisely honed, the Mercedes-AMG GLE Coupé captivates with its redesigned front end and modified AMG-specific radiator grille. The redesigned air intakes and characteristic LED lighting further emphasise its sporty character. At the rear, the newly shaped taillights in the star design, while the signature AMG exhaust system with dual tailpipe trimsdeliver striking highlights, imparting the vehicle with a confident presence.
All this makes the Mercedes-AMG GLE Coupé one of the sportiest off-road vehicles in the AMG line-up.

The state-of-the-art cockpit in the Mercedes-AMG GLE 53 Coupé is intuitively designed with you in mind: the AMG Performance steering wheel, flattened at the bottom, once again features a haptic rocker and roller. It is available with a range of high-quality steering wheel covers – from the grippy MICROCUT microfibre to supple leather and lightweight carbon fibre. The steering wheel paddles allow you to manually shift the AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G transmission. The two round, standard-fit AMG steering-wheel buttons offer intuitive operation, brilliant colour LCD displays and modern icons. The MB.OS operating system with its high-resolution display provides all relevant information in exceptional quality. This ensures you always have everything in view – and under control.
